Current progress

The Malmesbury expansion has made impressive progress over the past few months. After many months over of moving mud, digging holes and pouring foundations, the construction project is finally “out of the ground”.

The steel skeleton of the new café building is up, illustrating the shape and scale of the structure, the next step is to put the roof on and enclose the space with glass. The stepped ground floor of the new Dyson 9 building is now clear to see, with the pillars that will support the first floor installed.

Over the next few weeks, the first floor of Dyson 9 will start to take shape, shortly followed by the roof. Later in the summer, the glass walls that wrap around the building will be installed.

The sports facility is also underway, the ground works will be finished next month in time for the arrival and installation of the big steel arches that support the curved roof.
